Report: Chase Young likely to be available for The Game – WolverinesWire

Michigan fans that were celebrating the indefinite suspension of Ohio State star defensive end Chase Young can probably take a moment for themselves, because it’s looking more likely that the possible best player in college football will be available come Nov. 30.

The Buckeyes defender was suddenly ruled out this past week, after it was discovered that he borrowed money from a family friend, which he paid back. Ridiculous NCAA rules aside, it was looking like the Wolverines may not have had to face OSU’s star pass rusher for a second consecutive year, as last year’s top prospect, Nick Bosa, sat out the remainder of the season after a Week Three injury.

Accoridng to the Toledo Blade’s Kyle Rowland, however, Young is likely to only have to sit one more game, which means he would be available against both Penn State and Michigan.

That means the offensive line will have a daunting challenge, but wouldn’t the maize and blue faithful rather have their shot at the Buckeyes when they’re full strength?

The Game is set for noon in three weeks, on Nov. 30, at The Big House.
