Seth Rollins has commented on former Shield member and good friend Roman Reigns’ absence from WWE television.
The former WWE Universal Champion did so during an interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated.
Reigns has been out of action since before WrestleMania 36 last month due to him deciding to stay home to be with his family as he had twins born recently.
Since that time, there have been reports that there was heat from Vince McMahon for Reigns’ decision as Reigns was supposed to challenge Goldberg for the Universal Title at WrestleMania and with him being one of WWE’s top stars, there was a star power gap left as a result.
Apparently, the issues that McMahon had with “The Big Dog” has passed. For more on that, click here.
After talking about how Becky Lynch announced to the world a few weeks ago that the couple was expecting their first child, Rollins was asked whether he congratulated Reigns over his new set of twins.
Rollins said that he did and that this is their second set of twins now, which is crazy to him. He added that he’s never met anyone that had two sets of twins back-to-back.
“I was fortunate to get the news a while back, and it was nice to see him come out and explain why he’s been taking time off. He’s got five kids running around at home, and he’s trying to help the wife out and make sure everybody’s safe. It’s awesome. It seems like everybody is getting in on the new kid thing these days (laughs).”
Rollins also talked about Lynch’s pregnancy announcement, his connection with the new King of Fighters game, and a potential upcoming program with Edge. You can check out the full interview here.
