If Bachelor nation is anything, it’s impatient. Fans want to see their favorites get together, get engaged, and get married within a matter of weeks. And when anyone goes off script and decides not to stick to the Bachelor formula, fans are up in arms.
Just ask Juan Pablo or any of the other Bachelors who have decided to end their seasons without a proposal.
Typically, when a Bachelor couple ends the season with no wedding ring, they split shortly after the cameras stop rolling, but Colton Underwood and his winner, Cassie Randolph seem to be going strong despite the lack of jewelry. But even still, fans are impatient to see Underwood pop the question.
Cassie Randolph and Colton Underwood’s relationship
Underwood and Randolph met when he was the Bachelor. He fell so head over heels for Randolph that he chose her as the winner when there were still two other girls left in the competition. Unfortunately for the former football player, Randolph’s feelings for him weren’t quite as strong and she revealed that she didn’t want to get engaged at the end of the season.
So, the two went back to real life without the fiance title.
Life after ‘The Bachelor’
Since The Bachelor ended, Underwood and Randolph have been taking things slow and getting to know one another.
“It’s sort of reverse dating,” Underwood recently told HollywoodLife. “You dive into the deep stuff and the hard questions and that type of stuff first [on The Bachelor]. So, it’s picking up on the little things that are important to get to [now]. I think now she knows that I’m a klutz, and I know, for instance, she has a healthy habit to salt or wanting to put salt on all of our foods!”
“We’re learning, like, what’s important to the other person and how to just kind of create that balance in your life, is what we’ve learned to do together,” she revealed. “I think, honestly, we’re just leaning on each other and being honest and communicating, is what we learned. It’s everything to us.”
But they still haven’t moved in together.
“We travel so much, so we’re always around each other and together,” he told the outlet of why they haven’t moved in together. “It’s good, right now, for our relationship, to not be there yet, you know? We’re taking things step by step. We’ll get there, though. We’re taking our time to make it all work out and be right for both of us.”
Colton Underwood reveals when he and Cassie will get married
Though Underwood and Randolph both often say that they are taking their time and moving slowly in the relationship, fans refuse to let up on trying to speed up the couple’s timeline.
On Nov. 5, Underwood allowed his followers on Instagram to ask him some questions. Of course, at least one took it upon themselves to ask when the two would get married.
“When are you and Cassie getting married?” the person asked.
“After we get engaged,” Underwood responded, cheekily.
So, it looks like Bachelor nation is going to have to wait a little while to hear wedding bells ringing for Underwood and Randolph.
